My name is Dakota and, you guessed it, I'm a writer. Actually, I'm one of the lucky ones that are on the way to publication. Writer to published author, it's the dream, right? Then on to best seller, hopefully.
But that's not why I'm writing this blog. No, I'm here to talk about the craft. Writing is somewhere between torture and pleasure and we all know it. I don't know about you but I hate writing but love what I've written. But Let's face it, the struggle is real. Yet the struggle isn't something that we need to face alone. Whether you're a new to the writing world or you've been working at it forever, every writer struggles with something. Well, that's what I'm here for.
My journey to publication hasn't been a "normal" one exactly, but it has given me some insight into the industry that I feel like I can share in order to make other's journey's smoother. Tips, tricks, advice, questions that I had; hey, I'll try to cover everything. I'm here to help, so if you have anything you want me to cover, go ahead a leave me a comment and I'll do my best.
